The Karlingerhof
Our spacious group house directly on the shore of Lake Achensee has room for up to 100 people and is the ideal accommodation for every occasion. Nestled in the stunning mountain and lake landscape of the Tyrolean Alps, the Karlingerhof combines a cosy atmosphere with excellent facilities for groups of all kinds.
Whether a family holiday or a trip with friends – here you will spend unforgettable days surrounded by nature. Clubs, school classes and organisations also value our house for field trips, sports weeks, team-building days or school ski courses. Children's and youth groups, choirs, brass bands and groups with special needs will find barrier-free rooms, generous communal areas and plenty of leisure options right on the doorstep.
The Karlingerhof is also a popular venue for seminars, workshops, team-building events and private celebrations such as birthdays, Christmas parties or weddings. Whether as a cosy self-catering house or with full catering – with heart and experience, we make sure your stay on Lake Achensee is unforgettable.

The Achenkirch lakeside beach lies directly in front of our play garden of around 3,000 m² – just a few steps to the crystal-clear Lake Achensee. Refreshing swimming, comfortable sunbathing lawns and a wonderful view of the Tyrolean mountains await you here.
In summer, two beach volleyball courts, a children's playground and a water playground provide fun and variety for young and old alike.
In winter the cross-country trail runs right past the house, and the ski bus takes you to the nearby Christlum ski area free of charge every day.
Our rooms
All 23 of our comfort rooms have a shower, WC and wooden furniture. Two rooms are on the ground floor, one of them barrier-free. All rooms have single or double beds, no bunk beds. Most have a balcony with a view of the mountains or Lake Achensee. Bed linen is provided by us for a fee; for hygiene reasons sleeping bags are not permitted. Guests cannot bring their own bed linen.

Climbing equipment
Experienced climbers over the age of 18 can borrow our climbing equipment free of charge for use in our sports hall. Harnesses and shoes in various sizes are available, as well as a GriGri, climbing ropes and carabiners.
